(Very Low Calorie
Diet)
The original
HCG Diet consists of taking your HCG and following a
restricted 500 calorie diet for a minimum 21days to a
maximum of 45 days. Don’t worry, the HCG will flood your
body with calories so you won't feel
hungry or tired like you normally would on a diet. The
most important factor in losing the weight is to stick
to the recommended protocol that Dr. Simeons wrote.
There are many people who are experimenting with their
own diet recipes. We want to stress that a slight
increase in calories or changing the
recommended foods could cause negative effects on your
weight loss goals. Keep this in mind when consider what
other HCG Dieters are eating. Also do not exceed 200IU
HCG per day, as this can reverse the effects of the
diet. Don’t use HCG during a menstrual cycle, the best
time to start treatment is immediately after a period
Never use HCG if you are pregnant or nursing.
People who want to lose 15 pounds or less will need 21
days of HCG treatment followed by 3 extra days of the
low calorie diet. People who need to lose more than 15
pounds should limit the number of HCG treatments (36 to
42) followed by 3 extra days of the low calorie diet. If
you still need to lose more weight; then you need to
wait 6 to 8 weeks and control your foods before starting
a new HCG Diet cycle. People become temporally immune to
the effects of HCG after 42 days of HCG injections,
skipping one dosage once per week helps prolong the HCG
immunity factor.
Skip one dosage per week on the same day each week!
You must let
all the HCG exit your system before you start eating
normal or you will put on weight at the end of the diet.
After completing your hcg injections and letting the HCG
exit your body you will need to continue to limit your
calories in a controlled fashion avoiding sugars and
starches for 3 weeks. Your body needs to grow accustom
to its new weight. The Atkins diet works well for this
period. After 3 weeks, if you are now at your desired
weight you would very gradually add starchy foods in
small quantities. You need to continue to weigh yourself
in the mornings and if you gain more than 2 pounds you
will not eat breakfast or lunch and then you will eat
one steak at night. This should correct and stabilize
your weight again.

Day One-
Take the correct HCG dosage, (Inject or Sublingual
dosage) don't eat or drink for 15 minutes if you are
taking HCG
sublingually
(oral method). Eat as much food as you possibly can, you must
gorge your self for the first 2 days to flood your body with calories. Eat burgers, pizza, pie, pastries,
anything with fat and calories. This will help you not to be hungry on your third day.
Day two-
Repeat day one… PIG OUT!!!!!!!
Day Three-
Take HCG in the right dosage, you will start eating the
correct low calorie food in the required amounts, drink
1/2 gallon to one gallon of water until the end of your
diet cycle (21-42 days). Scroll down for the food list
End of diet-
remember to stay on the low calorie foods for 3 days
after your last HCG dosage. Let your weight stabilize
for 3 weeks avoiding sugars and starch (The Atkins diet
works for this 3 week period). After 3 weeks, very
gradually add starch in small quantities, controlled by
scale watching in the morning. More information about
the different phases of the diet can be found in Kevin
Trudeau book the weight loss cure, But some of the
things in his book are not necessary in our opinion.
This is Dr. Simeons diet food recommendations for the
diet.

Breakfast:
|
Tea or coffee in any quantity
without sugar. Only one tablespoonful of
milk allowed in 24 hours. Saccharin or
Stevia may be used.

Lunch:
|
1. 100 grams of veal,
beef, chicken breast, fresh white fish,
lobster, crab, or shrimp. All visible fat
must be carefully removed before cooking,
and the meat must be weighed raw. It must be
boiled or grilled without additional fat.
Salmon, eel, tuna, herring, dried or pickled
fish are not allowed. The chicken breast
must be removed from the bird.
2. One type of vegetable
only to be chosen from the following:
spinach, chard, chicory, beet-greens, green
salad, tomatoes, celery, fennel, onions, red
radishes, cucumbers, asparagus, cabbage.
3. One breadstick (grissino)
or one Melba toast.
4. An apple, orange, or a
handful of strawberries or one-half
grapefruit.

Dinner :
|
The same four choices as lunch
(above.)
|
The juice of one lemon daily is allowed for all
purposes. Salt, pepper, vinegar, mustard powder, garlic,
sweet basil, parsley, thyme, majoram, etc., may be used
for seasoning, but no oil (MCT coconut oil is ok for
some people), butter or dressing.
You should drink about 2 liters of these fluids per day.
Many people are afraid to drink so much because they
fear that this may make them retain more water. This is
a wrong notion as the body is more inclined to store
water when the intake falls below its normal
requirements.
Fruit or a breadstick may be eaten between meals
instead of with lunch or dinner, but not more than four
items listed for lunch and dinner may be eaten at one
meal.
Important
Highlights:
·
The 500 calorie limit must always be maintained.
·
2 small apples are not an acceptable exchange for “1
apple.”
·
Very occasionally we allow egg - boiled, poached or
raw - to patients who develop an aversion to meat, but
in this case they must add the white of three eggs to
the one they eat whole.
·
Cottage cheese made from skimmed milk is available
100 grams may occasionally be used instead of the meat
Medications and cosmetics
No
medicines(do not stop taking medcation without doctors consent, some medicine may be allowed with HCG) or cosmetics other than lipstick, eyebrow
pencil and powder may be used, do not stop taking your medication; Obesity is a serious
medical condition that should be addressed with your
family doctor. We strongly advise you to seek the counsel of a knowledgeable and competent
specialized physician or practitioner.
Some doctors are
open to working with and helping you conduct the HCG
Diet.
Aspirin and birth control are allowed on the
Simeons hCG Diet.
Every item in the list should be gone over carefully,
continually stressing that no variations other than
those listed may be introduced. Anything not listed is
forbidden.
Female menstrual
cycles-
On the first day of full flow, you must stop
the injections. You will continue the 500 cal/day diet.
When your period is almost over and you are just
spotting, you may restart the injections. The injections
that you missed during this time will be added to the
end of the program so that you get the full 23 or 40.
Yes, this will extend your program. Some diet clinics
have patients continue injections during menstrual
cycles, the result is heaver flow.
Timing and
HCG injections
When a patient has more than 15 pounds to lose the
treatment takes longer but the maximum we give in a
single course is 40 injections, nor do we as a rule
allow patients to lose more than 34 lbs. (15 Kg.) at a
time. The treatment is stopped when either 34 lbs. have
been lost or 40 injections have been given. The only
exception we make is in the case of grotesquely obese
patients who may be allowed to lose an additional 5-6
lbs. if this occurs before the 40 injections are up."
Plateaus
If
you should reach a plateau with your weight loss and you
have not taken more than 40 HCG dosages, you can break
the plateau by having an apple day. Eat only six apples
throughout the day. Drink only enough water to satisfy
your thirst day.
Certain foods can cause people to have plateaus;
tomatoes are one food that some people have problems
with. Coconut oil contains medium chain triglycerides
that help promote weight loss but some people have
reported gains and some people report extra losses from
using it.
Constipation
Constipation is often encountered when you have less
food intake. One you can add fiber by taking fiber
additives. Increase your fluid intake, drink more water.
Herbal teas: Dieters Tea, Smooth tea, Steep these
teas for a short time because they can cause cramping.
Licorice tea can also be beneficial; you may also try
Cascara Sagrada. This is also an herbal supplement that
acts as a natural laxative.
